remedy

there's an agony in it
certain and succinct
both born and borne
in separate paths

so much that could be
(tantalizing tresses tasted with fingers aflame
deep draughts poured out by eyes illumined with greedy glee
scents eddying about with delightful demands
delicious shivers elicited from exquisite embrace)
being not

yet
carefully choreographed characters
trail tender thoughts
(trembling)
along a heart's threshhold
imparting image of sense
seeking some poor recompense
for agony's harsh due
