yields the darkness timidly to a sparse sun
a demure touch
begs a radiant line burst 'cross horizons yet unseen
(though most avidly anticipated)

slowly
(inexorably)
fervor's fire
hastens the haze hence
leaving naught
(save stark souls
dancing their delight)
